July 16 1925 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by L. D. Douglas, concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on July 17th, 1925. A fast crossing of the Pacific from Yokohama was accomplished with Victoria being reached on July 16th, 1925 and Vancouver on the following morning.
A good passenger list consisting of 108 First Class and 81 Second Class passengers was reported.
Cargo comprised 4,000 tons and included 3,000 bales of silk valued at over $3,000,000.
