July 30 1923 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by L. D. Douglas, concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on July 30th, 1923. Exceptionally fine weather was reported and the crossing from Yokohama was completed in a fast time of approximately 8 days and 21 hours.
The ship reported 75 Saloon Class, 110 Cabin Class, and 400 Steerage passengers.
Notable passengers aboard EMPRESS OF ASIA arriving at Victoria on July 29th, 1923 and at Vancouver the following day.
