March 2 1935 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. V. R. Lovegrove concluded a Pacific crossing upon reaching Vancouver on March 2nd, 1935. On the voyage from Japan the ship experienced stormy weather. On this voyage the ship carried a small list of passengers, general cargo that included silk and mail. Some passengers disembarked at Victoria to proceed to American destinations. Some mail and silk were also disembarked at Victoria for transshipment south to the United States. Notable passengers aboard EMPRESS OF ASIA arriving at Vancouver on March 2nd, 1935.
