April 20 1929 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. J. Hailey, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on April 20th, 1929.
This would be the last Canadian Pacific Steamship sailing of the 1928-1929 winter schedule.
A passenger list with 68 First Class, 66 Second Class, 22 Third Class and 300 Steerage passengers was reported.
