December 1 1928 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. J. Hailey, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on December 1^st, 1928.  The ship carried 60 First Class passengers, 60 Second Class, 40 Third Class, and 500 Steerage.

On this voyage the ship was docked at Hong Kong for overhaul.
