February 7 1924 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on February 7th, 1924.
The ship was held for several hours at Victoria in an unsuccessful attempt to rendezvous with three passengers whose journey by rail to Vancouver had been delayed by snow slides.
A passenger list of 350 was reported.
