June 15 1923 - Notable Passengers
The EMPRESS OF ASIA began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on June 15th, 1923.
Hector Gilchrist is reported to have joined the crew of the ship as Fourth officer.
The ship carried a light passenger list comprising 65 First Class, 40 Second Class, 25 Third Class and 125 Steerage passengers.
