May 4 1935 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. V. R. Lovegrove, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on May 4th, 1935.

The ship carried a group of Chinese from British Columbia who were being repatriated to China.

Cargo included 3,000 cases of fruit received from the DRECHTDYK.
