October 8 1932 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by A. V. R. Lovegrove, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on October 8th, 1932. 

A passenger list of 450 was reported.  Included were several groups of Canadian and British Priests and Nuns and Franciscan Friars who were travelling to Japan.
