September 18 1930 - Notable Passengers

The EMPRESS OF ASIA, commanded by L. D. Douglas, began a Pacific crossing upon sailing from Vancouver on September 18th, 1930. 

Cargo measured 2,970 tons.

The ship carried a passenger list of 560 aboard with 70 First Class, 65 Second Class, 25 Third Class and 400 Steerage.
